Hi all,

We are here now, having an amazing trip, but my camera is broken!

We have a canon EOS 20D ( or something like that), and the flash just stopped working. I've been all through the manual, nothing helps. I tried calling canon and they said I have to send it in for repair.

Has anyone gotten a repair in or near WDW?

Thanks if anyone can help.

If its really "broken" and you're on a tight vacation schedule, a "faster fix" might be to buy a EXTERNAL FLASH attachment to use until you can get the built-in flash fixed.

On the left side of the Canon EOS 20D (as you HOLD it) is a rubber cover.
Under it, at the bottom left is a connector for external flash.
OR, the camera also has a "hot shoe" if you can get a Canon flash to match it.

Check the yellow pages for a camera shop that sells used gear and buy a used flash attachment.

I agree with Robo, an external flash will be your best bet for now. I know that the east coast service center for Canon is in NJ, I don't know of anywhere else I would trust with my 20 D.
