This is the last detail of our trip that I keep racking my brain over.

We will be traveling with a 1 year old. Renting our own car. Should I bring our own stroller or rent.

I currently have the uppa baby g luxe, a city mini (that we keep at the grandparents) and a city mini gt

I was thinking about two options option 1: brining the uppa baby g luxe to use at the airport and on smaller timed trips at the parks and to use at restaurants just in case he falls asleep on us ( i know some restaurants you can not use the stroller) and renting either a city mini or city mini gt...but then i thought about the fact of two strollers in the room kinda being tight so not sure how that will be staying at the grand floridian and if having two is overkill but the uppa baby gluxe is a glorified umbrella stroller its reclines etc

or just bringining one of our own city minis to use the entire length of our trip.

any thoughts experiences would be greatly appreciated. so unsure what to do and keep going back and forth on my decision its 90 bucks with insurance to rent for the week

I don't know the difference between the models; it's been a few years for me.

But I would absolutely suggest bringing your own. You can bring that sleeping baby on the monorail and let him sleep until you're back in your room-- that's HUGE.

When my daughter was younger I brought our own, mainly for convenience in the airports. Once she turned 3 and loved walking everywhere, I started to rent from Kingdom Strollers. It was so much easier than having to lug hers through the airport and wait for it on the jetway! Kingdom Strollers dropped the stroller off with bell services at our resort and I returned it to bell services the evening before our departure.

If you already own the strollers that the companies rent, I don't see the point in spending extra money on that. Bring your own city mini because the large sunshade and ability to recline almost flat will be a godsend. Enjoy your trip!

I'd bring the GT. I agree that having two strollers in the room, even folded up, would make it pretty crowded.

I own a GT, but still rent one from Orlando Stroller Rental (or similar) and bring a cheap umbrella stroller for the airport and first day of our trip. I do this mainly because I'm a bit paranoid about something happening to my own stroller. The umbrella stroller stays in the rental car during our trip. Of course this all depends on how long we are staying. Our last trip we rent 3-4 days and wasn't close to the price of having to replace my own stroller in case something happened to it.

We used them for 2 DGDs on their first trip last month. The quality of the strollers was terrific, they were clean, easy to roll, and to collapse to throw in the car.
In fact our DDs were so impressed that their senile parents were savvy enough to find such a place! ;) We flew to MCO, but rented a car. We were already lugging car seats around so we wanted the stroller to be as easy as possible.

I'll have to remember this for our trip in September!

Kingdom Strollers for the win!! We rented the City Mini GT with our 13mo last year and are doing it again next month. We bring a smaller collapsable stroller with us just to use in the airport and all.

We always brought our own. It makes no sense to me to rent something you already have. It seems like a waste of $90.

With a 1 year old and luggage I would want a stroller for the airport.

I have a 2 yr old who is getting a little big for her Chico stroller (nicer umbrella version, reclines pretty flat). Would yall recommend a city mini?

I can't justify renting the same one we own

Last time we went, our youngest was 1, so we brought our Maclaren umbrella stroller. He is now 5, we no longer own a stroller, and I'm thinking about renting the park strollers as needed. He can walk some, but if he tires at some point, I want the option. I also remember my husband getting tired of having to fold up the stroller and find room on the Disney buses when we moved about. But it was a necessity for an infant.

I bought a cheap stroller at a yard sale, that way I wasn't as concerned about it being beaten up by the luggage handlers. We usually drive down but we'll probably fly when we bring our grandson.

You own about $900 worth of strollers. I cannot imagine spending money renting what I already own that much of.
