:sad2: These were ALL brand new clothes too. I took them out of the dryer only to find a lot of ink over all her clothes. She's 2 and these were her winter clothes. So I rub stain remover over everything and wash it again. I then take it out and find the ink is still on there. Now what do I do? Is there anyway to get it out? :confused3 ..... This was over $80.00 in new clothes!!!!!

 If you don't know a way to remove the ink, please tell me YOUR laundry horror stories.

Because you dried them already, the stains will be a lot harder to remove. Try hairspray, that will often break the stain. Or smear the stains with shout stick and let it sit at least overnight.

Look on the internet for the queen of clean. there could be some ideas there.

before you run off and tie dye them, try soaking them in oxi clean for a few days. my dh had a pale green polo that went through the dryer with a blue crayon. It was streaky all over the polo. I soaked it in hot water and oxi clean for a couple of days in a large bowl in the kitchen sink. I stirred it every few hours and added more hot water as needed to warm it up again. It finally came totally clean. Good luck!

If any of them are white, put bleach on the spots. Otherwise, I would try soaking them with Oxiclean, and research the internet and the Queen of Cleans website for more things to try. Good luck!

DEFINATELY try the hair spray thing. Spray/re-spray/scrub wash and keep repeating. I've had to do this with a pen left in a zip up sweatshirt pocket and was horrified when I opened up the washer. After alot of work, pretty much all was gone!!! Good luck

RIT makes a color remover. You could try that. It doesn't remove the original colors just dye, so it might work for ink.

When I had a children's clothing store, we used hairspray but we didn't have a whole load of laundry.

If you don't have hairspray-try rubbing alcohol. (It's the alcolhol in the hairspray).

If it's ball point pen, hairspray will definately work. But use the aerosol kind. I can't tell you how many times I washed my pen with my waitress uniform when I was in my youth. Hairspray always took it out.

this should work......don't know how well since you already dried the clothes, but it has worked for me in the past:
1 cup of baking soda, 1 cup of water softener (Calgon) or whatever brand your store has. Fill the washer with warm water and let the machine agitate for about 2 minutes, until everything is dissolved in the water. Add the clothes and let them sit in the machine for 30 minutes, the add the regular amount of detergent and wash under the usual cycle. Check the clothes before you put them in the dryer....if the ink is not out, repeat this again.
