Help me pick where to eat! Our dining reservation window opens up in two weeks. It will be my 40th birthday  and we will be in MK that day but aren't opposed to hopping elsewhere. Our dining party will consist of me, my youngest DS, my parents, my best friend, her daughter and mom. I really want something fun and memorable but not fancy so signatures are probably out. I have been to Disney many times but for some reason this is such a HARD decision.:confused3

Any recommendations? Somewhere you had a great experience?

Hmmm ... "fun and memorable" ...

What about:

* Be Our Guest dinner - good food, great location and photo-op with the Beast.
* Chef Mickey's - Mickey and Friends have a fun celebration as part of the regular dinner.
* Rent a fireworks birthday celebration cruise. It's pricey but definitely memorable.
* Teppan Edo - Your group of 7 will very likely have an entire grill to yourselves. Lots of fun!

I will also be in MK for my 40th Birthday in Feb - so I feel your pain :sad1::scared: lol

I decided on BOG for my birthday dinner - but I have never been there so it will be extra special for me. My 2nd choice was California Grill to view the fireworks from there (we'll be doing that earlier in our trip.) Character meals are always fun and memorable!

Whatever you decide will be magical - because you will be in Disney!

We really like the Wave. The food was the best we had(I thought better than Narcoossee) I love the atmosphere. More adult than most disney restaurants

Hmmm, I have thought about BOG... I have been for lunch and breakfast several times but never for dinner.
Fireworks cruise would be fun. These are good ideas.

$$ limit?

I am not worried about money as much as I am atmosphere and fun time.

Happy early Birthday to you!! I am thinking about BOG if we can get the ressie but I have been several times for lunch and breakfast so I am not totally sold yet.

We have never been to the Wave but it is on my must try list for breakfast and dinner. My husband and I are going to the world for a few days in a couple of weeks and I am thinking about trying it out before we head to MNSSHP. If I like it enough it could be a winner, just was not sure about the atmosphere.

My opinion, FWIW, is that The Wave reminds me of a generic hotel restaurant. The entrance is cool but the rest of the place could be at my local Marriott.

If you want to stay in MK, I would consider CRT and be a birthday princess for the evening! O'hana is also a lot of fun. Hoop de Doo is also great and they acknowledge all who are celebrating something!

I forgot about that!
