Help! Best way to get to Universal Studios from POR

My husband and I just booked our honeymoon today!

Leaving January 26th and returning February 4th. We are staying at POR and want to spend 2 days in Universal Studios.

What is the best and easiest way to get there. I have been looking into having a transportation service pick us up both days. Any suggestions?

Using Mears Taxi Fare Estimator, for a taxi, it would be $33 one way. This is based on a journey from EPCOT, which is near POR, to Universal Studios.

A Mears van is 19.00 r/t/ per adult. That's what we always use and even though they may have to stop at another resort or two to pick up guests, we've always gotten to Universal well before park opening. Then about an hour before you're ready to leave Universal to go back to your resort call Mears for a pick up. The Mears Number is 407-423-5566. You can either get your travel vouchers at the Mears desk in the airport (next to the DME desk) or you can just call them the day before you want to go and then pay the driver in cash. The vouchers you get at the airport do not have a date on them. You just call the day before you want to go to Universal and arrange a pick up time. The only advantage to buying the vouchers in the airport is they will accept a credit card and the van driver can't.
