Help! Best CS meals?

Help!

We are headed out next week and have changed our plans totally (had to cut some costs but not cancel the trip)

We are downgrading from Deluxe to Basic dining plan.

I've got all my TS AR's but need some help with the best CS meals.

Can you give me some suggestions? Need ones for MK, AK, HS & EP.

Please give me your 1 or 2 favorites in each park. Also need suggestions for DTD.

We were there on Basic DDP last June and really liked and felt we got good value for our money at the following:

MK - Cosmic Rays (dad got a chxn and BBQ dish, I think, that he thought was good and was huge).

Epcot - We loved Sunshine Seasons in the Land, but I'm sure there are also some great CS places in WS.

AK - We didn't go to Flametree BBQ, but I think it's gotten good reviews and we plan to go there in Dec.

HS & DTD - I don't think I can help here - sorry. I've never had CS at either.

Oh, and we stayed at CSR, which, apparently, is the best value for your DDP dollar and the food was fantastic (great burritos). So, I know it's not a park and if you're not staying there, then you probably won't make it over, but I had to throw it in b/c we really liked it.

Hope your trip is great. Our families favorites are:

MK -
Cosmic Rays - They have huge portions - some of which you can share and bank some CS meals
Casey's Corner - We love to get our food here and then eat while we wait for the evening parade

E -
Cantina de San Angel - We love everything from this one
Sunshine Seasons - really great variety (espcially if you are tired of burgers and fries)

HS -
Toy Story Pizza Planet - our kids must do

AK -
Flame Tree BBQ - once again - something other than burgers and fries

DTD -
Never tried, but wished we had went to Wolfgang Puck Express

MK Columbia Harbor House and Cosmic Rays (Rays rib/chicken combo meal is the biggest "bang" for your buck)
EP Electric Umbrella and Sunshine Seasons
DHS ABC Pizza Planet..decent pizza and pretty good salads
DAK We really don't like any of the CS here...Flame Tree is sort of over rated in our family's eyes....Pizzafari is OK, but duh, there isn't any pizza on the kids menu!!

MK ... Cosmic Rays is very good. We love eating here. Very large portions.
Epcot...we just sort of stop and eat at varied times and locations and share.
HDS....Pizza planet is good, nothing fancy but the kids like it.
AK...Flame Tree BBQ

You shouldn't have any trouble getting an excellent counter service in EPCOT We've eaten at

Sunshine Seasons (wow, great desserts here too),
Yorkshire County Fish Shop (United Kingdom),
Tangierine Cafe (Morocco) and
Cantina de San Angel (Mexico)

All were very good, and no complaints at any of them. Depending on what you feel like eating, you won't go wrong with the above choices.

DTD--Earl of Sandwich is our favorite.

These are the one I tried some better than others but they all offered great variety so here goes!!

Epcot- Sunshine Season -- there is something for everyone and it is indoors!

Magic Kingdom- Cosmic Rays-- again there is something for everyone and it is
indoors!

Animal Kingdom- Flame Tree for the lovers of "Q" outside eating at its's
hottest

Hollywood Studios- Skipped this all 2 gether!!!!!

DTD- WPE Market Place
I saved the best 4 Last WPE Market Place just plain got it going ON!!
breakfast,lunch&Dinner,Pastas,salads,roasted
Chicken,Pizza,wraps,creme brulle, frozen yougart with fresh fruit,organic teas,cookies and waiters that bring your food and drinks and NO PAPER PLATES AND CUPS OH and real Silver Ware,It is that great and the waiters are worthy of a tip,so it is the only CS that I tipped but it was one of the places that I was very happy to do so. WPE can easily be used for a nice dinner and use the TS credit maybe to double up and eat at signature!

HS - haven't had c/s there.
AK - never been to AK.

Pizzafari - great pizza, sandwiches, and salads

Sunshine Seasons - Best selection - asian, salads, sandwiches, soups, and more
Kringla Bakery (Norway) - guilty pleasure

HS:
Backlot Express - I recommend the grilled vegetable sandwich

DTD:
Wolfgang Puck Express - fantastic food
Earl of Sandwich - great sandwiches

You received some good suggestions above for most of the parks. For former MGM, now DHS, we like Studio Catering Company for CS instead of Backlot Express. You can check out the menus here:

These are small but clean CS restaurants. The trick is finding them on the map when you're in the park!

Epcot: Kringla Bakeri if you like smoked salmon (we do) and Sunshine Seasons

MK: Columbia Harbour House and Pecos Bills (if you like burgers with everything on them).

DHS: This is tough. We always eat at Toy Story Pizza planet but when we ate there in August I was unimpressed. If we weren't always on the Dining Plan I might suggest packing a lunch for this park.

DTD: Wolfgang Puck Express (Marketplace) and Earl of Sandwich

MK- Colombia Harbor House. The tuna sandwich was really good!

DHS- Pizza Planet; we love the atmosphere.

AK- Yak and Yeti CS.

Epcot- Tangierine Cafe in Morroco. This place was SO good. I love the shawarma platters.

DTD- Personally, I think Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD is the best CS location in all of WDW. Couldn't believe it was a CS credit!

Definately Cosmic Rays at the MK! Like everyone has said, the portions are huge and the food was wonderful. Being inside from the heat was a bonus as well. We just loved it and I plan to go back there the next time. Well worth a CS.

If this is an indoor restaurant, can you still spilt your meals and save some CS credits? Everyone says how large the portions are so thought I would ask.
