Help! Back up location question...

I was told today that back up locations are provided randomly and that there isn't a set back up location per each ceremony site.... but this board seems to express that there is certain locations used as backup for specific places. Which is true?

And what are the back up locations??? What about back up Epcot locations?
 
I was told that I'll pick my back-up location with my Epcot ceremony location. I don't think I'm going to sign my contract unless they put in a backup location. I'm not willing to "chance" my location on my wedding day.
 
In my contract it specifically states that Boardwalk Ballroom (Marvin Gardens) is my backup to SBP. :confused3

But as a side note - with all your questions I would definitely recommend Carrie's book - it's really been a lifesaver for me!

There is always a rain backup location.

They aren't assigned randomly, but they vary depending on proximity, capacity, and availability. For example, if your event is held in Japan, the backup location is probably going to be American Adventure Rotunda or American Adventure Parlor, depending on group size and the availability of each location.

However, it could be the private room upstairs at Norway, or it could be in the former Wonders of Life Pavillion, or it could be at the Odyssey, if the other spaces aren't available.
 

My backup location for SBP was Marvin Gardens and that is where I was..lol

Also, I haven't posted my pics from there yet but the Wonders of Life Pavilion was so cool!
