Hey everyone! I am making my own autograph book for my kids where I just used 4 x 6 cards and placed 100 of them inside an old photo album I had. It is a size 6 1/2 in tall,5 1/4 wide and 2 3/4 thick. It has a binder type ringing inside where I can add more photo slips, but I can't remove the metal from the book. It has that kind of hard cardboard(forget the name of it) as its outer cover and it's covered with ugly flower wallpaper type print and plastic wrap. So.....I would love to know how to put my own cover on it. Should I strip the paper-type stuff off of it and then just wrap with cardstock? I wish I could just use stickers, but the flowers on the front just need to be totally covered. Any ideas would be most appreciated!!

Well, to answer myself I think. I am wondering if colored contact paper might work if I can keep it from looking cheap. Hmmmm

I just do my covers out of cardstock and paper and keep them in Ziplock bags. They seem to hold up pretty well.

There is a thread on the scrapbooking board that has some that Susan- 123SA made. She covered them in clear contact paper to keep them water proof. Turned out pretty awesome.
