Help at Jambo and I can't find the DVC laundry room!

Every time I go to the lobby to ask there is a huge line and I am either on my way out or in. I'd like to run the towels through and dry bathing suits, but can't seem to locate it and it is not on the map they gave me--unless it is on the 2nd floor...but that just seemed incorrect?

Note that laundry facilities are free for DVC members. If you are staying in a studio in Jambo House, laundry facilities are located on the 5th Floor, Zebra Trail. If you're in a studio at Kidani Village, laundry facilities are on the lobby floor. For guests with a one-bedroom or larger villa, you will have a washer/dryer in your villa.

Face the huge window in the lobby, standing above the area of the inside firepit and the free laundary is on the 5th floor on the right. It's at the beginning of the hall that's nearest the savannah, not the pool.

I even called the "front desk" during my first Jambo stay and asked and yes, they directed me to the second floor laundry room, and I knew that wasn't right.

see the words zebra trail - that is really close to where the laundry.

use to have the room closes to it - but computer broke and lost that information.

they are really close to standard pool view studios

Good information! I'm saving it for my March Trip.

Does anyone know about how many washers/dryers are in the Kidani laundry room? I wonder if it's a 2-3 machine room or if there might be more.

Actually Kidani has 3 washers (one is a large front loading) and 6 dryers.

Just a reminder....the machines LOOK like they need coins....THEY DON'T! I ran into a guy using the Jambo laundry room and he wanted to know how I got the machines to work without putting in money. I told him since they are DVC machines, they're free. He proceeded to tell me that "they've NEVER been free" in "all his years staying there." It was like he was mad at me or something....

DH put money into the machines at Vero. The machines will take the money if you give it to them.

LOL! I remember the coin slots at BCV (I don't know if they have them anymore). I was so mad-"I thought DVC told me they'd be free!" Finally in frustration I just pushed in the coin slots-boy, was I surprised when the washer started.
Thanks for the Jambo laundry info. I haven't needed it yet, but you never know when. And it's good to know that now I'm prepared, knowing where the laundry room is.
