Help ASAP: Uggs, Emus or Bearpaws for DD11?

Great timing on this thread.

My daughter begged for Uggs this morning! I may look into the EMU ones as well.

She has very wide feet. These look like they would be comfortable for her. Do they run wide?

Uggs do run wide. Emu I am not too sure about. But uggs very wide.

I have wide feet and can wear Uggs. I prefer Emus because they have a little arch support. Uggs have none.

But whatever you decide, get them a little snug because they'll stretch.

Actually had this conversation with DD13 this morning. She has had several knock off boots in the past few years, but now that her foot is no longer growing, I thought I would get her the real thing. We were discussing her Christmas list and she says she would rather have a cheaper pair, and get more other "stuff." So now I'm torn. She has never been teased about clothing in any way, though for the most part there is no reason to. But she is getting more into the "name" of things. I also wonder if they would last longer instead of barely making it through the season like the other brands do.

Go with Emu or Ugg, if you are looking for quality. Bearpaw is not the same. Dd had a pair and they fell apart before the season was over, and her friends did the same. I replaced them with Emus and she has had them now for 2 years and while they need to be cleaned they are in great shape. I have Uggs, and have had them for 2 years too, and now my dd wears them more than I do. I got her own for Christmas and when she outgrows them, they'll fit me

I'll just give my experience...we own 3 pairs of Bearpaws. All 3 are being worn for the second season and are holding up great.

This is year 4 or 5 for the Ugg's I inherited from my DD. Her current pair is on its 3rd season. Both pairs look like new.

I'll just give my experience...we own 3 pairs of Bearpaws. All 3 are being worn for the second season and are holding up great.

We've got two pairs of Bearpaws that are on their second season of being worn in upstate NY, where the winters are winters. They are holding up just fine.

Mine are on year 3 and in great shape I just got purple ones for this year.
