I'm booking fastpasses for my party of 14 this morning at 7am. I just went to check that everything's working smoothly and that everyone is listed properly and it's saying my sister's boyfriend does not have a linked ticket!! We linked it a few days ago, I double checked and it's still listed under his account. It IS a date based ticket while the rest are not. Does this mean it won't open properly until 7am, similar to package tickets??

Did his ticket begin to "show" at 7AM EST?

I would call the MDE help line just to be sure everything will be okay at your 60 day mark. I purchased APs through MDE for my whole group about a week before my 60 day mark, and on the morning of MDE wouldn’t recognize any of our APs as tickets even though they were showing as correctly linked for everyone. I called Disney that morning and the CM had to manually make all of my FPs for me. I missed out on getting SDD until day 7 of our trip and had to settle for a late FoP FP on our AK day

ETA: just realized your 60 days is today. Hope it worked out!

It did NOT "show" at 7am as hoped! :( So we just booked all of our fastpasses without that person and once the crucial ones were booked we got on the phone with Disney. While on hold, that ticket suddenly started working so we went back through and got him added to everything! Nothing like adding a bit of stress to the morning!!! :scared:

Another weird hiccup we ran into that we weren’t prepared for: my parents are taking a trip next week on their own. My mom has an annual pass and my dad has a 2 day ticket for that trip and a 6 day ticket for the January trip. The system would not allow us to book fast passes for either one of them for more than 7 days total including both trips. Does anyone know if this will fall under the rolling fastpass window or if I just wait until their trip next week is over with to book that last day of fast passes for them? It’s a day at Epcot so I’m not super concerned about getting them ASAP but I’m just trying to figure out exactly why it doesn’t work now! IT tried to explain it but I’m not sure they completely understood why we couldn’t book that 8th day.

I ran into this problem once before. We were planning 10 park days, and it was cheaper to buy 2 5 day military salute tickets than a single 10 day ticket (even at the military discount on MYW tickets). While testing/learning the system prior to my 60 day mark, i discovered I could only make 7 days of FPs. Which I couldn’t understand, as if it only recognized one of the tickets, it would only let me book 5 days of FPs. Yet, I couldn’t book for 10 days.

When I called support, I was told that, the maximum number of FP days you can book is the larger of:
1. The number of days on a single ticket
2. The number of days of your Disney resort stay (including check out day); or
3. Seven

Once my 60 day window opened, I was able to make all 10 days of FP.

If I were staying offsite, I would have been able to make only 7 days of FP in advance, and for the final 3 days, I would have had to wait until using 1 days worth of FP before making the 8th day, and so on, similar to those with an AP staying off site (unless Disney customer service pixie dusted me).

Likely you could make the 8th, 9th and 10th day of advanced FP one-day-at-a-time as each of those last 3 days became “30 days in advance.”

No, I was not able to. This was my first FP+ trip, and I was playing around with the system using days all within 30 days, and I could not make more than 7 days, whether it be days 20-30, or 1-10 in advance.

However, once my 60 day window opened, I was able to make FPs for all 10 days during my resort stay. It worked just as the IT guy had told me it would.
