Help! Appx. Start Date for Fall '09 CP? Before/after 8/12/09?

Sorry - hope someone out there (who has done the Fall CP before?) can help!

DD will be applying - and I'm trying to book (CHEAP!) August airfare for the family to vacation at WDW right before she starts the CP (and overlap a bit), so we're in town as she starts up. (Or just use this as a great vacation if she doesn't get accepted to the program... ...but fingers crossed!)

Anyone know *generally* when the Fall CP tends to start? Is it on a weekday (Monday?) mid-month or...?

The problem is, the check-in dates vary (and change) every time. Also, there is more then one set of check-in dates. There usually is 2 check-in dates a week (Mon and Wed), and it runs from early Aug to early Sept.

For FA 2008 there were only two check-in dates... May 19th and May 28th... a Monday and Wednesday.

Yes. There is more then one check-in date for Fall Advantage too.

I did the cp in Fall 08. The first check-in date was Aug. 11.

The thing I've noticed in the past, is depending on when you accept your CP, you will have different dates to choose from. I remember my first program I received my letter well ahead of time and interviewed about mid recruiting season, and was only offered to select from 2 dates in February (SA '06, obviously).

And with my second program (Fall '07)...I applied and did the Epres as soon as the app went up, and I think I was able to select from 3 dates right around the same week in mid August, like consecutive Monday, Wednesday, Monday.

I think it'll depend, but I would probably shoot for 1st or 2nd week of August.

Seeing as how I applied early, I should have plenty of dates to pick from... I'd like to go early, but I need to wait for Mebby if we want to room together....

And it will only be February! You'll have plenty of time to book tickets!
