Thinking of converting to APs during this trip for DD10 and me. (Have done the math - all works out with planned trips.) But something just dawned on me and it could change my mind...

What luck have you had booking FP+ only 30 days out? As someone who logs and and books the second the 60 day window opens, I'm really concerned I won't be able to get our top picks. Especially with this trip coming up in July (a once in a lifetime girls trip with my daughter), so if we can't get the passes we want for the trip and others, I'm not sure it's worth the upgrade.

So, AP holders, what's been your experience?

Will you still be staying onsite during your trips? If so, you still get to book at 60 days out with an AP. I have an AP but always book at 60 days since I'm staying on site.

If you had APs, would you always be staying offsite?

If you stay onsite you'll have the 60 day booking window.

Yes! We'll be at POR for this upcoming trip. So good to know - thank you! We haven't been AP holders since pre-FP+, so I'm not as familiar with AP specifics around FP+. I was thinking that our ticket type would determine the 30 or 60 day booking window, not realizing our resort stay would allow us to book at 60. Thanks so much!!

And with an onsite stay, you have the length of stay FP booking - you won't be limited to 7 days of FPs.
