These things are never easy.
I worked for a company that made pregnanct tests and false positive are not unheard of (they used wee from guys for the negatives and sometimes it wasn't always negative).

Your doctor should be able to answer the question for definite and help you in any other way too.

I had a 2 year old and a one year old when i found out I was having another. It was a very difficult time for our family for months.
You'll make the right decision for you and your family whatever you do.

Hi everyone, i just wanted to update that I am NOT pregnant!!! I am so pleased that the weight has been lifted from my shoulders in epic amounts!
I did another test and waited the 3 mins then chucked it out - have also been at the doctor this morning for an internal and smear, she said that there was no evidence of pregnancy and that everything looked ok, she said it could have been a misscarriage but thinks it was more likely to be a breakthrough bleed. She said just to keep an eye on everything and go back if I have any more problems - hopefully it's all sorted now!

Glad you're pleased with the news. It's a horrible feeling worrying yourself sick over something. If you're anything like me, your mind goes into overdrive as soon as your head hits the pillow.
