I booked my flight to MCO 9/4 - Airtran $79

And my return flight home 9/8 to PHL - SW $69

Plans are now changing, because it is cheaper for my friends to travel in October.... What do I do to change my above flights.... My head is spinning, and I just cant think straight. Please HELP :worship:

TIA

Hi Tinktink, I feel for you. Nothing like buying your tickets and finding out that your party has changed dates. You can try calling each airline to see what it would cost to switch dates, but most likely change fees will apply, which would negate the cost of your tickets. If you made your flight reservations today, you MIGHT be able to get them to rebook you at no cost, since some airlines will let you cancel within 24 hours. Thought number two is to help your party find cheap fares for your original dates. Airfares are on sale right now, so you might be able to come up with a price that works for them. Next thought is going solo? I have been to Disneyland many times by myself and have always had a great time. When I booked my airfare today for the labor day weekend, I was shocked at some of the room offers that came up, like I could add the Dolphin for slightly more that $100 a night, and I think another hotel came up like the hojos for $16.00 a night! What ever you decide I hope it works out to your satisfaction!!! Here is some pixie dust for you:wizard:!

With Southwest you could change flights online at no charge a year ago when last I did it. You can have a SW agent walk you through it even on the phone but they will tell you that it has to be online to avoid a change fee. The fare is higher for the new flight, you will have to pay the difference.

Southwest is having a sale that ends today, so you may want to check and see if you can't get a better deal! If you do they will only issue you a credit, but I think you can get it in the form of a drink voucher or just save for your next trip if within a year!

I don't know about Air Tran..

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your suggestions! I gotta work on it tomorrow !

I'll let ya know what I find out.

Has your Airtran flight changed times at all? If it has, you can get a refund from Airtran. They ae very liberal with their refund policy.

Hi TinkTink, fares on airtran dropped today. Plus you can get a $25.00 coupon off for a trip to Orlando - there is a link on the transportation thread where you submit your email and get a coupon. I bet you could help your friends get a great price. Good luck and let us know how it shakes out!

I am going to go in Sept and Oct!!! :rotfl2:

No seriously, I think that is what I am going to do.

I am ONLY going in September now.... :sad1:

But its for longer and not losing any money with my flights!:banana:

Thanks everyone!:cool1:
