Quick question does anyone know if $216 per person round trip from LAX (Los Angeles) to Orlando is a good price? It would be with American nonstop flights? Thanks
Hi!
Just like car rental , window shop the airlines.
If not call SWA, Delta and my wife just flew Ameriawest bos to LAX, call after 1159pm on a thursday , I find that the midnight crews on the phones are more interesting.
Compare with what your itinery is and then call back your airline and ask if you can get a better price or better flight. It worked for me a few times putting SWA against Delta , BUT YOU MUST have the exact flights and times to be creditable or else they check your info right there and then, or they will not work with you.
Happy Window shopping!

I had been watching all the airlines fares for months too! BUT, I had to wait for DF's tax return to be able to book. This past weekend, I booked (with Song) for $295. per person from Boston...having to wait raised the price by $91. pp! (pretty steep since there's 6 of us going!) The original price back when, was $204. pp..I sure wish I could have booked it then!!!
btw, when I was watching the fares..I stopped looking into American when when I was quoted the ridiculous price of $1,206.00 per person! :lol
Rates right now from where I live in Maryland are $274. We only have 1 carrier (USAir) and Dh refuses to make the 2 1/2 hour trip to Baltimore or Philly to save $$$$. Fares are going to have to go way up for me to get him to drive to a SWA hub.
Thanks everyone...I did jump on it and we have made our first big step tp WDW! My DD and I have invented our own happy dance we can hardly wait to go! WDW here we come...

Southwest is already taking ressies out of PHL for when they begin flying in May. USAir has also dropped their prices to compete. You've got to love the free enterprise system!
I got $206 from Philly, RT, for May on USAir. I booked in Nov., thinking that was the best I'd get. Once you book and pay in full, can you get a better rate, if you find one ,on the same carrier?

I just bought 2 round trip tickets to MCO Leaving on 12/3/2004 at 7pm and returning 12/5/2004 at 6pm for $321.66.
Have some vouchers for AA that knocked the total out of pocket price to $206.66.
