HELP! Airfare credits/refunds?

I booked our flight down with AirTran - I know they don't do refunds, but do they do credits? If so, does anyone know how long the credit is good for?

Our flight home is with Jetblue - do they do refunds or credits?

The reason I'm asking is that DFIL offered us enough airmiles to fly out of YYZ.

O.K. nevermind... LOL it looks like it costs more to cancel than actual flight than the booking price.

Looks like we're flying out of Buffalo then, which is fine - but it would have been nice to have free flights. DFIL and his GF will be meeting us there, so it's a shame we couldn't have all been on the same flight.

You are better off still flying out of Buffalo. It would have cost a fortune to cancel the already purchased flights and the taxes that Aeroplan would charge you for your "free" flight is probably also more than you have already paid
