Help, advice needed!!!

We are taking our 2 sons (4 and 2) to DW April 24th-26th. I am trying to schedule which parks we will be visiting on which days. From what I read, it is best to stay away from MK on Thursday's (better to go on Friday and Saturday). But it looks like grad night is Friday and Saturday (April 25th and 26th). Does anyone have any idea what grad night entails? Will MK be insanely busy those days? Would it be better for me to spend my full day in MK on Thursday?

Our plan was:
Thurs. Epcot in am and MGM in pm
Friday. MK all day/night
Sat. AK in am and MK in pm.

Any thoughts??

A number of things can effect how busy parks get, so judging it by just the day of the week is a hard thing EMH, Spectro nights (when they don't run it every night), holiday weekends and special events all effect the number of people touring

For special events a lot of People wait until later to enter so they can make it later into the night. SO going to the park in the early morning and leaving early may work. But IMO I would avoid it all together and beat the crowds there by goign Thursday.

Going Thursday is a BAD IDEA. We were there the same week last year and we went to MK on Thursday and it was a MAD HOUSE because everyone else at WDW had the same idea we did - go the night before grad nights to see wishes and spectro magic. Friday was dead at MK, so if you're most interested in having a good time at MK, go Friday like you'd planned. Maybe try the plan below if you want to see wishes. Good luck!


Thurs. Epcot all day/either stay for Illuminations or see wishes in pm from one of the monorail beaches
Friday. MK all day leaving at 7 for dinner - maybe chef Mickey's
Sat. AK in am and MGM in pm

If you want to go with Chef Mickey that night like the poster suggested I sugest calling asap. Our arrival day was Grad Night so I origianlly thougt we would do CM than walk around the resort and maybe a monorail ride and then call it a night. Well we could not get a reservation, CR was packed, as well as the monrail bc everyone was leaving MK. So I might go to MK that day but I would stay clear of anything that night near MK.
