Help a Sister Out!

Excellent! Her voice has a pristine quality to it. Her expression and phrasing were really good. I think she had a few "pitchy" moments but that could be due to her allergies.

All in all, thumbs up!

Couldn't make it through the video. Tell her to take voice lessons. Period.

She really needs voice lessons.

I am not a music singer but that is off key and her breathing is wrong. Tell her to rerecord when she is not suffering from allergies. Not a good sample. Sorry.

She has a very clear and beautiful voice, but it definitely needs fine-tuning from some professional lessons. She's a diamond in the rough, so encourage her to hone her talent. :thumbsup2

I think she could be a good singer, but you have to remember than the voice is an instrument, and she needs training. My DH had voice lessons as a kid (hated them), and my kids have a natural ability to sing, but the difference between an untrained voice and a trained voice is huge. Dd's voice coach has made a big difference, and there is no way she'd get the parts she gets without her.

Maybe it was just because she was in the car but she needs to work on breathing.

Posture makes a huge difference (so sitting down is not a good idea). Better breathing would make this song stronger!!

That being said, she's good. She has talent. It just needs to be refined. She should take a few voice lessons to improve her skills and learn what she can do to overcome some of her minor issues.

Best of luck!
