Help a couple of questions!

Iam probably getting married ouside of disney this coming october....Leu gardens! It will be just the two of us no guests at all so Iam looking for something romantic to do afterwards.
After much research I have decided on Victoria and Alberts.
Now My question is, What would be the best time to have the ceromony at Leu gardens in order to have time to have photos and be limoed over to the grand floridan?
Also, I take it it will be alright for Dh and myself to be in wedding attire at the GF even though we married offsite??
Plus Does anyone know what is the earliest Ps for dinner at Vand A? Iam guessing that if we have our ceromony at around 3pm we will make it to the GF for around 5pm, Can we then hang out in a louge bar area somewhere in the GF and then have a PS for around 6pm or is this too early/not possible?

I would be really grateful for anyones ideas or input to this As iam really struggling to best plan the day having never been to WDW

OOHH!! Forgot to add!
If my ps for Vand A is at 6pm will I then be able to watch the illuminations afterwards.
Does this start at around 8.30 -9pm? Is it possible to wander outside from the GF after our meal to the lake and watch from there?

hi there tallym, congratulations on your upcoming wedding! victoria & alberts is very nice & elegant. i dont see a problem with your wedding attire at the gf or for dinner at V&A (wedding attire just isnt allowed in the parks *unless you have a wedding event there through ftw). the meal lasts about 2 & 1/2 hours and is seven courses. ps's used to be for 5pm, 7pm & 9pm only (not sure if this is still the same or not)

as for the fireworks its wishes that is at magic kingdom (times vary depending on mk hours but normally start at 9pm) & is viewable from the grand floridian beach & dock. (fyi-illuminations is at epcot & cant be viewed from the gf) so make sure your ps gives you enough time, 7pm for example would probably be to late to catch the fireworks so just plan accordingally.

So its wishes i should try and see...I suppose the best ps for me would be the 5pm then if it lasts 2.5 hours...Phew thats a lot of food!

But that would still leave 1.5 hours or so until wishes
Anyone have any ideas what we could do to fill that time? Bearing in mind we will have just consumed a rather large (and long) meal, and I will be in a wedding dress!

Its so hard to choose the right thing to do... perhaps there is a different restaurant that would fit in better with watching the fireworks??

Any ideas?

I noticed your post and am curious as to who you are planning your wedding with? I too am getting married outside of the parks, yet can't decide who to go with and where!!!!! Why did you pick Leu gardens? It is very pretty! It would be simplier if we could have gotten married at WDW, but its just way too expensive for us!!

When we went to V&A last Nov. I believe there were 2 seatings - 6 and 9. And trust me, you can certainly linger over your meal until it's time for Wishes You can also relax in the lobby and listen to the orchestra if there's time. If the fireworks are really important, you could even book the Grand One for a fireworks cruise and just have dinner there. Congrats on your upcoming wedding

I believe that Leu Gardens is in Winter Park. That's a bit of a drive from WDW on I-4. Depending on the day of the week, you could find yourself in the middle of rush-hour traffic. Some days, things run very smooth, but it is not at all unusual for I-4 to move at snail pace. Good luck!
