Help, 5+2 package vs Sept DM package discount?

Help pls!

We booked our 5+2 package before end of July and it's total cost: 1698 dollars for CBR, 2 adults, 1 child.

Now I'm reading about September discounts, room only for $85 a night at CBR, which would be like $600 plus tickets to parks.

Should we rebook our package, has anyone done that? They also show Dream Maker Package with discount code ZXPL, but it doesn't say how much the cost is.

I'm so confused right now it's not even funny, please help out if you have any knowledge!!!

A few people have been in the same spot you're in - have an existing, more inclusive deal and want to see if getting the parts separately with this code would be a better deal. Most felt the 5+2 deal was better but one or 2 changed as in their circumstances it worked out better.

I read every post and I think the only way to figure this out is to call CRO and see if there would be a difference if switching to the September Dream Maker Package.

Now I sure wish I had AP haha, that would save tons of money!

The 5+2 package works out at around 29% (2/7) discount for both accommodation AND the UPH tickets.
If $85 quote mentioned is for a standard room at CBR in Value season (Sept) then that's about 36% (48 saving/133) on just the room. If the dreammaker package offered a similar discount including the UPH that would be quite good.
Looking at your countdown you have missed the 45-day point where you can cancel the 5+2 package without penalty, so the cost of that would need to be added if you cancel it.
I'm watching for Oct discounts (before 45 days) myself to see if changing from the 5+2 would work for me!

I just got of the phone with CRO and our package would be $200 more if we switched to the September Dream Maker Package Discount. I guess the 5+2 deal is good for us.

I'm glad I called though, for some reason our insurance had disappeard from our reservation, we never took it off!

We did at one point upgrade to pref. location and she told me it was only 10 dollars more for the whole stay, yeah, she added 10 dollars and deleted our insurance..... Also that it couldn't be added back on!!!!!!!!!

They told me I had done this online myself lol, I haven't been able to access this reservation online at all, tells me that they are unable to show details etc...

Well, it was resolved and I had to pay the $79 for the insurance, again, now only because my daughter had the stomach flu last year up until our morning of leaving for WDW, it's a MUST for us this time around (they go back to school and pick up germs *sigh*)

Matter resolved, now I'm glad I called to ask about the discount
