Ok our trip is booked August 24th-30th , can not move the dates
We have 2 adults, 2 kids ( one under three)

With these new discounts coming out , i am so confused lets say one deal is 25% off the room and ends in the middle of our vacation and then a new promo opens up ? Split stay wouldn't make sense because of the steep discount on the park tickets by then ....what do people do ???

Thanks for helping a newbie , i feel so overwhelmed !

We have a Dinsey visa debit too if that helps

You can book your park tickets under the first reservation for the entire length of stay. I haven't noticed any August discounts yet. Which deals did you see?

Oh I didn't realize that...that makes much more sense !!!! They have the disney visa discount out today for % off rooms but people are saying it only goes til the 27th , i think. Should be released to public by Monday is what people are reporting.

Also speculating that free dining might start the 28th but just a guess

Hope it's not too complicated because I would love to get our cost down a bit.

I hadn't even seen the Visa offer! If you wait until Monday when it's available to the public you could book through orbitz and get an additional 15% that might make up for then it would at least help offset the higher rate for the last half of your stay. Downside is the rooms category you want might already book up. If you are flexible on the resort and room type this might be a good alternative. I just booked our first reservation through orbitz this week and it was easy! I received a confirmation number to input into MDE, had to change my address for MB's since it defaults an Orbitz address and also had to go online to book DME. Still very easy though. Our park tickets are separate.
