Help - 15 month old - do we need to bring our Pack N Play?

This will be our first trip home to BCV with our baby boy, who will be 15 months when we go. When we have gone out of town (such as to Grandma's house), we have lugged the Pack N Play so he had a "crib" to sleep in (he has never slept with us and I would prefer not to start that if possible).

I have heard that some disney resorts provide port-a cribs for the rooms - Does BCV have those? Are the guaranteed? (i.e. is there a chance that the front desk would run out of them??). And how are they for the little ones? We are also spending 3 nights at Vero Beach - anyone know if they have port-a cribs there?

I SO appreciate any insight on this issue, and it would be great not to have to take the Pack N Play if we can avoid it.

I know that DVC 1BR and 2BR villas have the Pak & Plays as standard equipment -- not sure about studios.

We were in a studio in BVC the last time I was there, and I recall there was a pack-and-play in the closet alongside the ironing board.

Along similar lines, my question is, is there a highchair or a booster seat available in the 1BR? Any help is appreciated.

There was a wooden highchair, the kind restaurants use, in the front entry way closet. If not call Housekeeping and they will deliver one.

In the past we have called Mousekeeping and they brought us a highchair up. We have done this in a Studio, 1BR and 2BR.
The CM's have always been extremely accomodating!

Also if you can't find the pack and play, look in the coffee table (chest) in the living room of the 1 or 2 bedroom.

Also, Mousekeeping has a few full sized cribs they can bring to your room. Well, they are not quite full sized cribs - but a crib and not a pack n play. They can run out of those, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Thanks to everyone who has responded regarding my somewhat silly questions. Since it's my first child, I have never had to consider high chairs and cribs before. Another new experience among many.

Thanks for that tip about the cribs, TriMom. I am concerned b/c my daughter has never slept in a pack and play. I found a site that rents cribs to WDW resorts for worst case scenario, we can call that if she's not comfortable.

And thanks Lisa. We are staying in a 1BR this time and probably would've been stumped when I didn't find it in a closet somewhere.

Thanks so much for the replies! Does anyone know if Pack N Plays are available at Vero Beach?

My son has slept many nights in a Pack N Play and it has never seemed to be a problem, although I don't think they are quite as comfortable for him as his crib. Kind of like the difference between a fold out bed and a "real" bed, I think. We may try to get an actual crib - thanks for that tip.

They're at HHI, so I would imagine they are at VB also.

They had a pack and play in a studio in the past.

IF not I am sure the front desk will be able to help you get one.
