OK whos watching this..... I must say I quite enjoy it. Its on for two weeks so I hope it won't clash too much with my Big Brother viewing  (I know you think I'm sad!)

So if you are watching it who do you think should leave first??

I reckon Alma from Corrie, what is she doing there?? She looks confused:confused: all the time :)

Al Murray looks a good bet to win.

What do you think?

hope it's a little better than last night - it was quite boring and I thought Angus looked very uncomfortable during the live sections. Should get better as time goes on.

I want Alma to leave as she is just an attention seeker and is in acting mode most of the time. She puts on those silly voices and faces to get noticed and she's driving me mad with her scattyness (sp?). Never have liked her (can you tell ?).

Will also be watching Corrie as it's all going to kick off tonight. Better sign off now before I miss the start.

Happy watching !!

Holly

I was looking forward to this but was a little bit disappointed. I thought there was a bit too much "in between" bits with Angus. I agree ALMA MUST GO!!!

Karen

I too have been watching and i think alma should go too. She isn't enjoying it, she must have someone cook everything for her at home. I hope it doesn't clash with BB too. Its starts on friday and i work till 8:30 on a friday so i hope i don't miss too much:Pinkbounc

Just watched it last night for the first time. Quite enjoyed it but don't think I could watch it every night. My money is on Alma going first.

This was a scream - thought Belinda carlisle was going to lose the plot over the ravioli!!

Think Matt Goss looks quite calm and collected??

Don't think I'll watch every night - clashes with 'cutting it' tonight - but I'll watch in ITV 2.

Cath:D

Gave it 5 minutes...then Deayton's dyed hair and his " Have I got News for You" voice and mannerisms were too much for me.

Shame, I liked Ramsay's other recent series.... but this is so pitifully contrived it's embarrassing.

I couldn't agree more. The other series was excellent.

And who are these "celebrities" ? They're not even B-listers. D or E at the best.

I checked this out last night and caught some of the night before - I found myself asking....... Why??? There is no fun along with the pain, no humour alongside the seriousness. Even Angus Deayton was hard pressed to come up with an amusing oneliner last night (Tues).

It was uncomfortable to watch people getting absolutely nothing out of it at all except feeling down, exhausted and humiliated, whoever they are. It is a different matter if it is a vocation you have chosen and you know the person at the helm may make you one of the best there is.

Since I didn't see the previous series with Gordon Ramsay (didn't even know there was one!), was it with chef wannabes? If so, I can understand it being infinitely more enjoyable.

Have just finished watching the other series Shirley (recorded whilst we were in Orlando :D) and it was much better in my opinion.

It was more along the lines of Ramsey visiting various restaurants around the UK as a kind of troubleshooter, helping them turn things around. It was quite an eye-opener to see what goes on behind the scenes in some operations  with shop-bought sauces etc being passed off as fresh and home-made.

I think this is a series too far for Gordon. I thought the other series was much better, this isn't one I'll bother with.

Tommy Vance and Dwayne Chambers walked today !!!!

Poor James, last night did anyone see him. Bless.

OK, I feel like a rant!!

I agree with previous post that Angus is very annoying. But what really peeves me off is the fact that these "celebs" are whinging that it's so tough and so difficult - they are all being paid about £20k each to be there, what's so difficult about that! Difficult is when you don't have a job and you have kids to feed and clothe! The only reason these people are finding it so tough is because none of them have ever done a "real" days work in their lives!
There - rant over!!

Claddagh,

Oh, come on now ! they need the money, you know. You seem to forget that poor Dwayne Chambers needs some cash since his main source of income ( athletics ) has been curtailed after he took illegal substances and got banned........ and we've all read about Angus D's expensive tastes in hotels & ladies of the night, so he deffo needs mucho cash!

Try and be a bit more kind towards them and their needs ;) ;)

Gordon telling the Head Waiter what he thinks of Vic Reeves;

****ing tell that ****ing idiot to f*** off. I'm not ****ing serving two fried ****ing eggs.

Classic

But then he apologised to him...did he give him the eggs in the end??

New phrase now appearing at work.

"Doing a Gordon Ramsey"

And the funny bit is watching these "C-List" celebs being brought down to earth with a bang. Oh and Edwina Currie's hairnet.

AND....

Seeing Vic Reeves being made to look like the sad talentless loser he is.

Loving it.
