Hell's Kitchen

It'll be Julia or Rock. No doubt about it.

I'm really surprised Brad went home tonight. I figured that it would be Bonnie or Josh.

I found it hilarious that Julia's dish was the best. Bonnie and Jen didn't even want it because they didnt think it'd be "good enough" but it was the best.

I hope julia wins!!!! She deserves it!! :goodvibes

And to address the issue about Chef Ramsay being obscenely rude and horrible. I COMPLETELY understand where he is coming from and I think he has every right to yell and scream like he does. He has these amateur chefs cooking in HIS restaurant. His customers have extremely high standards when they come into his restaurant, and he wants everything to be perfect, so he can continue being a successful fine-dining chef.
Who would want to go to a fine dining restaurant, pay LOADS of money, and be served crap?
SO I completely understand that when he yells at them, it's because his butt is on the line too.

::yes:: I completely agree!

So true. Chef Ramsey has high standards, and he won't send substandard food out to people.

I love Bonnie, personally. I've loved her from the beginning and I honestly have no reason besides the fact that I just do.

There is absolutly NO question in my mind that Rock will win. I don't forsee him giving it to anyone else. It will come down to Jen and Rock and here's why...
Bonnie: She's not a very good cook...despite her pallate (sp?). The biggest problem with it is that she knows that and she works herself up. She'd crack, pure and simple.
Josh: I'm pretty sure none of us want to be served by a "donkey" who "can't cook"...not to mention the day Ramsay hires him will be the day I go anorexic and my friend's parents get divorced (if you know my world, you'd know that neither would EVER happen).
Julia: She doesn't have much of a voice. She may get it after awhile but she would make a very bad leader. What she's good at, she's VERY good at but there are somethings that she is totally clueless about...such things that you would find at a high-end rest.

So it comes down to Jen and Rock:

Jen: She's been relatively quiet until last night when she became quite the ***** (can I say that? We'll find out). But that's just it. She has the *****yness to be a head chef. Not to mention, she would make a better boss than actual worker. The girl knows what she's doing. However, she has only recently shown that whereas before she just sulked down like a lowly rat. Not to mention that whole spaghetti trash thing...but that's mostly me hoping that it comes back to bite her in the...um, butt.

Rock, the winner: He has yet to show problems dealing with anything. He takes Ramsay's critiques (the very few times that he gets them) but he has the balls to let his attitude (albeit sour and fiesty) fire it back at poor performance in his own rest. He can be respected in charge and he is strong as *heck*. I've loved him from the beginning because of all this and he's stood out as a winner who WILL take home the prize that he deserves.

And on a total side note, I find it amazing what these people cannot do, especially when looking at what they can. I mean seriously, who can't make spaghetti or a single ravioli?

I defenatly agree that Julia should should and and i am also surprised that Josh didn't go home last night. And then when Bonnie and What's that other guys name? having a blonde moment right now but out of those two i thought it was going to be Bonnie. Also i can't believe Chef Ramsey didn't over rule the boys decision not to put Josh out.

Julia: She doesn't have much of a voice. She may get it after awhile but she would make a very bad leader. What she's good at, she's VERY good at but there are somethings that she is totally clueless about...such things that you would find at a high-end rest.

1. Julia does have a voice, and she is a good leader. She just needed/needs to earn her team's trust.

2. The experience isn't the problem. The real thing Chef Ramsey is looking for, metaphorically, is a diamond of any kind. Julia's like an unpolished diamond. She's naturally got the stuff, she just needs a little work. And it's work that can be done, unlike with someone like Bonnie, who's, let's say, more like quartz. You can't turn quartz into diamond. No matter what you do.

To put it in English, the areas in which Julia is lacking are the areas that Chef Ramsey could teach her easily. She is very strong in other areas, such as leadership. It's just because she doesn't have the experience that her teammates don't trust her. Which, now, they are learning their lesson about.

But the thing is, Ramsay isn't going to be at her own restaurant to teach her. It's going to be hers which means that she's going to be running it herself without someone there teaching her.

It is my opinion that she is underqualified. This 'diamond' needs a few more years to actually morph into one.

There have been many times that she's run around like a chicken with her head cut off. There are many things that she is just clueless about and that scares me. I'm pretty sure this is why she doesn't have much leadership trust.

I'm just saying, if she wins I will send my personal appologies to each and every person (and there are surprisingly a lot) that firmly believes that she will win but I'm just not feeling her.

Not enough :sad2: .
Ramsay is smart enough to not hire someone who he has to teach that much to. There's only so much you can teach someone in a certain period. I get the feeling that what she doesn't know at this point, she cannot possibly pick up in a few weeks.

But that's my two cents again.

But note the fact that she is starting to pick up some of it. It may not be perfected, but she is a fast learner.

I do and dont like the show that much. The chef is really mean to the other contestants.

But what time and what channel is it on?

I'm glad someone else commented on this episode before I had to come and gloat (but I'll keep that to a minimum):teeth:

What confused me was that this episode was the one where Josh got the extreme boot. He didn't do anything worse than any other day where he got by with nasty comments and the like. I wonder what set him off so in this episode that he didn't even wait until the end. I'm personally glad that Josh gave him back attitude.

Anyway, as far as Julia's oust goes, it shows something, especially because he liked her so much. I'm glad that he's giving her a long time to grow. She needs it and can go far with it next season.

Sundays on Fox at 9.

Chef Ramsay has to be mean. It's the only way that a lot of these people learn. Not to mention, he only beefs up the nasty-factor for the Americans. He's not nearly this harsh back in Britain.
