Hell's Kitchen Finale last night

Kevin was SO arrogant! But he could cook.
Dave was a sweet heart and could cook his butt off even with one bum arm.
He seemed to have much more natural talent.

The best cook won.
I'd rather have good food by a slow talker than so/so food by a fast talker.

We laughed when at the end Ramsey was mimicking "You aint nuthun but a bleep" We had just been talking about that guy! (I wonder how humiliated that guy was after his little stint? )

I am so glad Dave won, I was rooting for him!!! His voice reminded me of Lowell from the show Wings.

I think chef Ramsey recognized Dave's raw talent. Also, Ramsey likes simple cooking. If you watch his show, "Kitchen Nightmares" it is a theme he drives home: simple, rustic cooking.

Agreed! We were rooting for Dave from day one. I think the people from Whistler liked Dave's menu because it was not only simple, but it showed that he is comfortable making the kinds of foods that they will be serving in their restaurant. Hello...Whistler probably isn't known for it's clam bakes. And, I think Gordon liked Dave's determination as well as the fact that he knew how to make a menu that his cooks would be able to make.

We liked both Dave and Kevin but we definitely thought Dave did a better job on his menu as well as running his kitchen.
