Greetings from Texas! I'm Deedee and my family thinks I'm insane (my family consisting of my mom, dad, sister, and girlfriend of 7 years) because I am already intensely planning details for our trip to WDW for August of 2006! Anyone else here as crazy as me with super early planning?

Yes Im in the same boat as u. I am a planner but Im an insane planner when it comes to wdw vacations. WHY...Dont they understand. Its not every year we go so whats wrong with wanting to plan the most fabulous trip with every detail
unknown to man. We descided to go to WDW last summer,along w/my DD 3, & MIL, FIL,& Bil. SO I wanted to plan the most magical family vacation . They constantly tease me saying How many days till wdw, or what will u do after the vacation, or what new thing did u read about wdw today. Mind you we all have been to wdw b4 except my DD. Just not togather. So when I tell them some thing for ex. waking Tink, they are speachless & I feel justified. So I say .. Be Proud Dont be afraid to be known as the Disney Freak

I think I have you beat....we aren't going until Feb 2007!
My family thinks I'm nuts planning our vacations...until we get there!
(nothing can beat the look on my DD's face when we were IN the Disneyland parade!! - learned the 'tip' on how to be included in the parade on the net!)

Oh, good! Now I can tell them all I'm not the only crazy Disney planner! LOL

I'm just trying to read everything I can get my hands on in order to plan the best itinerary and save the most money. My mom keeps saying, "Deedee...that's over a year away, anything can happen between now and then..." My girlfriend normally would be doing the same thing, but I'm treating her on this vacation (after 3 or 4 other vacations to NYC & Vegas that she has completely funded), so I think she's just happy going with the flow.

And I'm really hoping we'll be able to make this an annual or bi-annual event from here on out!
