Wow I love this board, lots of great information thank you everyone! The only confusing thing well maybe not confusing but fustrating thing would be the trip reports posted in different threads and getting all mixed up.

Anyways, I would like to share a little something about my future trip and of course I will post a trip report. So if anyone has any helpful advice that would be great also I'm trying to read up as much as I can and It's just getting me so excited.

June 19th through June 26th 2004 up coming trip...Husband 33 First trip also daughters first trip ages 7 and 10. This will be my 2nd trip I was 8 years old my first time going and that was or will be almost 21 years ago this coming July. I was only there for 1 day at MK. I remember the tiki show, pirates of the caribbean, tea cups, OMGOSH the first shock was the castle I couldn't beleive it, I was sad because i wanted so badly to go up and walk around in it. I remember the swiss family tree house, I remember a ride that played it's a small world peter pan maybe????? I remember but vagely a small house either mickeys play house or goldie locks bear house, a parade, driving race cars, a boat trip, a train ride the monarail and a roller coaster that was on a mountain and a water ride and getting really wet!

So I did lots of reading didnt mean to get off track and I ordered the dvd the trip planning of disney which we have watched a million times already and I let the girls pick which resort they wanted to stay at they picked Disneys Caribean Beach Resort so that is where we are staying. My husband wanted one of the all stars but, thats because he is such a penny pincher I really wanted the WL but I let it be up to the girls.

I ordered our tickets over the phone through Disney has anyone done that and how did it work out???????? I just went and bought our airplane tickets yesterday got I think I got a great deal.....I'm so excited I also already have done some clothing shopping for the trip and had to buy some new luggage....I have just been buying the kodak camera's My husbands bad about camera's and I do not want to deal and then something happen and end up with no pictures that has happened a lot with us we are not camera great!

I know we are going to Cirque du soleil......I havent made any reservations for dining yet still doing research on all that! Ok well enough info for my first post I will try and put my trip report in this thread. When i told my daughter and we were planning they were like oh yeah yeah sure sure.......when I showed them our plane tickets today my 7 year olds eyes started to water and it sunk in WOW we are going and she told me it was her birthday wish!

Welcome to the Dis Boards Callie724. You will have a great time; especially your daughters as they are at a great age for WDW. We have been to WDW 3 times now. We went last December to see the World at Christmas, and it was fantastic. I am already planning a trip for 2005. If I had my way (and money), I would go every year. My three year old granddaugher was there for her first time in December, and there isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't talk about WDW. You are never to young or too old! Have a great time and plan on doing some character meals.

Our first trip was when my youngest (daughter) was 7, and it was PERFECT!!! She was still young enough to really enjoy getting autographs and meeting characters but old enough to enjoy most of the rides. Have fun planning, and you may want to invest in "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World". I had so much fun reading that book and planning our first trip. The planning really paid off, it can be really overwhelming if you don't have at least an outline of what you want to do.
