Nah, dad was born there![]()
Hello all. Hurray for the adventure Caitlin!!! Hello to the new guy.
Went to the gym and got a good workout in. Spent most of the day cleaning and laundry. Kitty has fleas, they were all over DD's room. I sprinkled flea killing powder all over the carpets.

Hi Kristen!!
Sounds like today was a successful day, well except for the fleas that is. How is school?
School is fine. I've only got one class this semester, Computer Science. It the basics of computers. Today I learned all about the internet, different types of computers, their history, and the possible future of computers. Riviting!!!!
The fleas are no big thing. Tomorrow I'll vacuum up the powder I put down. I already sprayed the furniture and washed the bedsheets. I get to give kitty a flea bath tomorrow, I'm sure she'll love that. I'm thankful it's not lice, that is a royal pain to get rid of.

ah, now i remember why i love living in the cold. no fleas or cockroaches or lizards or snakes.
Am I a geek? That sounds like it might be interesting.
Oh now that bath may not be a whole lot of fun. And lice oh my I know that one. Kody got lice in the first grade and it was really hard to get rid of those little suckers.
What about ants? Are there ants?
It's kinda interesting. I just watched a couple of videos with tomorrows ideas and technology. Microsoft is developing something called surface. It looks like a coffee table but when you place your digital camera on the table, the pictures on it appear and you can edit them or copy them to another device, like a phone, that you would place on the coffee table.
we do have ants and spiders. our biggest problem here is misquito's. they are huge here. it's a joke that they are our state bird.but fleas and cockroaches are not native to here. we do get them if people bring them up some how.
I have heard about your mosquitoes I am not a fan of them at all. But, I rarely get bit, Kody on the other hand is allergic.
i could not handle fleas and cockroaches and stuff like that.
I have to agree big time with this! That is one reason I am thankful for our cold weather. We have all the same bugs you do. Although our mosquitoes aren't that big, but we do get lots of them. At least last year we did. We could barely go outside they were so bad.
don't you just love not worrying about bugs in your cereal or bread or kids beds. or pets having fleas. when i get depressed by the long winters, it's little things like that i think about.
Yes! As much as I complain about the cold and all this snow, I am very happy that I don't have to worry about bugs being everywhere. Especially roaches. The one thing I wish would get killed off and never come back is moths. They creep me out the most.
The last year or so there has been a problem with bed bugs in some areas. This scares me a little. But thankfully we haven't had them here.
i was a little freaked out by the bedbug thing as well. but i have not heard any problems with it up here. and moths are creepy, they just stay on the same window for hours, they never move. we have them here as well. they are always sitting on the outside of our living room window.and bee's, my DD13 is freaked out by them. if she even see's one outside she comes in. she really needs to get over that.
