The sad thing is that not all stores have the trading boxes. I know mine doesn't. Yet. Next time I go in I'm going to ask the manager who always sees me there and who I spend a good 30 minutes each visit chatting with if sheknows about any rumors that they'll be getting them. That would be freaking awesome to do some trading at my local store.

Yup, yup. We're actually planning a trading night while I'm there for the girls trip so I can meet up with a few of the members of the other site and hopefully do some trades before my AG dinner and WOC with Laurie. Hopeing to get some good trading in.

That should be fun! Hopefully you can do some trades then. When I get some money, I am really thinking of buying that Stitch one on ebay. I want him so bad, lol.

Wanna know what else is funny? Cause it is just my luck today (or lack there of). All the baby clothes that I bought online (because they don't normally sell a lot of infant clothes at our location that I could remember) were at my location today!! So all that shipping I paid and the extra $13 for it going through customs, was pretty much pointless!!

peanut is one fussy little butt today!! I wanted to throw him through the wall a few times!!! got bit by the terrible two bug today!

Aw, it's on it's way already? And when did you order it again. I want mine now, lol. Sigh. Cool beans, one of the 2011. My favorite is the black/gray one that has the different lands on it with the only color on the 2011 in the back. I might get that in the future at the Park or something.

I ordered it last night and got the email saying it was on its way today!

Probably.. I gave him tylonol tonight.. he was also over heated when I sent that.. it was so hot in that restaurant kit wasn't even funny.. and he is just like me when it comes to being over heated.. turns extremely red quickly

Very very not happy with DS.com right now. They let me think for 24 hours that I was getting my Simba. But I just got an email that says sorry, but we were sold out at the time you placed your order. What the heck kind of crud is that? Why not say "sold out" and prevent people from placing any more orders!! Now he's not coming.

So you're order was processed before they told you it was sold out?? Did they take money off your card??? That's totally dumb! There was another Stitch Vinylmation that they had, but it said sold out once you clicked on it. That's the way it always should be.

I am going to give my DS a call today to see if they do any trading in the store.

Basically they oversold because it let me go through the entire steps of ordering it. I got the invoice and everything. This would explain why it said "pending" on PayPal but still. They shouldn't be overselling. When it sells out, put sold out on the website. The whole reason I ordered him was because I wanted him. They send some crud about if there was anything else I wanted to add to my order they'd be happy to complete that order and I'm just thinking ... if I wanted to order something else I would have ordered it.

I'm sad.

That's disappointing. I would be upset too if it were me. Do you know if they're gone for good once they are sold out? Or do they just need to wait for more to come in?

They'll probably get more at some point since it's not a limited release but I spent all of yesterday so excited that I would be getting him and now severe disappointment.

Yeah they need to keep better track of their inventory cause that's not fair to make people think they are getting something they're not.

Just called my DS, and they don't do any sort of trading there. Looks like I am going to have to figure out another way. I may keep them. But I gotta wait to buy more. I might buy just one more....maybe.

I'm going to just wait for DLR. Probably see if Michele can pick him up if they've received a new shipment in by then instead of the Nerds/Park series. It's just got me down and worried about how getting the 9" Fantasmic is gonna work.

I am sure it will all work out. I know what disappointment is like (as I got it 3 times yesterday, lol) but it still sucks that it happened that way. Even though I love what they sell, the DS isn't always the greatest. For me it's the shipping they they charge. It really can be ridiculous.
