Hi! My name is Beth and I just found this board last night and I think it is a place for me!
I am a SAHM of two fabulous kiddos and I love to run. While preggo with DS4 I signed up for my first marathon, WDW 2007, and started training 2 days post-partum. Two more fulls and several halfs later I am registered for the Goofy Challenge in Jan! I would love a motivating group to get me through the tough training and maybe even someone to run the full with on Sunday! I also am thinking of running the Women's Half in St Pete Nov 21 and would love input on alums from that race.
Anyway, I am excited to get advice from more seasoned racers and share tips!

(I just realized, I need to change my siggy, we already went on that trip!)

I had a rough time with the race last year, but I think that was me, nothing to do with the race at all. The expo was great...we met Kathrine Switzer and she signed my copy of her book. The medal is really cool! I like how it has the detachable part that you can actually wear and I can't wait to see the new design. I'll probably do it again this year since it's fairly local. If you're interested, there's also the Halloween Halfathon at Ft Desoto on Halloween. Great course...very flat, though they had a little problem of running out of medals at their race in March.
