Welcome to the Photoboard! I love it here. So many friendly, helpful and talented people. Looks like we'll have a lot in common: I shoot Nikon as well, and loooooooooooooove those puppies, who comprise about 90% of my photo subjects. I have two yellow Labs, whom I run in agility (thus my username)
A word of caution. You will see such great photos here and all that advice about lenses, cameras, and other gear is sure to cost you some $$ before long! The mods really need to post a warning about that.
