Hi and welcome!

How far along are your plans?

Our upcoming trip will celebrate our 25th anniversary!

Aww that's sweet :)

Well....... Basically right now we are still in the process of selecting dates on when we want to go lol. I would like to go in the Summer so We can ride splash mountain at night, that is my little tradition. Right now we are thinking maybe the end of August or the beginning of September. We're staying at the Disneyland Hotel which I have never done before. My wife and I are very excited for that. We are going to do 3 day park hopper passes. The biggest issue we are having right now is selecting all the great places we want to eat at. We have only really eaten at Blue Bayou. I've eaten at other places in the parks as a kid but don't really remember them. I know one day for lunch we will be eating at Cafe New Orleans, they have the best garlic fries in the world. Also one night we are going to eat dinner at Carthay Circle. I listened to a podcast recently where they reviewed it and said it is phenomenal. So, we will eat there one night and it will also be the first time trying a DCA park restaurant. Any other suggestions on meals?

aha!! You're going to DisneyLAND.

Sorry, I haven't got a clue. I'm in NY, so Disney World is our destination this summer!

But enjoy your planning!!

Welcome! I live in L.A. so I know lots of fun stuff about DL. Come by the Disneyland boards - you'll get lots of great advice! (P.S. Heard they felt both the earthquake last night and the aftershocks today in DL.)

Welcome to the boards from L.A., hope all of you are safe from the quake. My husband and I were married in Disney in 2005 and have been about 10x since 2003, so we know our way around and where to eat. Please let me know if I can help you with anything Disney! I always love to talk Disney...lol:-) One big difference in DL and DW is the humongous size of Disney world, so bring your sneakers! I forgot my sneakers one time, luckily I found some in Epcot's Germany pavilion.
