Hello to all my old, and not so old friends at DISboards! Not been on here for about a year. Been lurking around for the last week or so, and have found the Disney Magic again!

After twelve months of extreme joy and pain, two close family bereavements and the birth of my second daughter, I think that the time has come to start planning another trip to the Magic.

I REALLY want to go the WDW, but as my DW says, baby will be a bit too young to visit next year (we can only go in the heat of August), so I think I can persuade her into a nice 5 night break at DLP!!

So, I am back.... and will no doubt have some really silly questions to ask, but perhaps I can offer some sound advice to others in return.

Thinking of travelling Eurostar again, as last time that was fantastic for us (plus it meant an extra night away).

Really nice to see that this forum is still thriving, it has the best and most informed members than any other. Keep up the spirit of the Magic, after all, life is too short to worry about insignificant matters, and everyone needs a little bit of Magic in their life!!

Congratulations on the birth of your baby and fantastic you are considering another trip. Theres a lot of trip planing going on at the moment on this board

Sorry for your bereavements but congratulations on the birth of your DD. I've experienced the heat of August in WDW and I wouldn't recommend it for very little ones. Let the DLP planning commence!

Yes, Annette. You did send postcards to DD Chloe and Granny Pam. They were well received....even Granny Pam really thought Mickey had sent her a special message!! LOL

Nice to read so many comments from so many familiar DISers.

Looks like DLP is a definite for next year with WDW in 2010, maybe in May/June. SOOOOO many people have said avoid August with a baby (SKYLA BLUE) and I think DW has made up her mind not to go then.

PLANNING TIME HERE WE COME!!!!!

Glad you remember my avatar, it took me hours and hours to persuade Mickey to wear that kit for the photo!!
