So why are so many girls obsessed with hello kitty. its not bad just curious. i mean no offense but to me it seems a little babyish and i dont get it its a cat in a dress?

This reminds me of Geography when my friend did a case study of Sanrio, the company who made Hello Kitty, and the teacher was mortified. It was funny.

I think people obsess over preschool shows, because they want to recapture their childhood, when they didn't have to worry about their social life, school, etc. or maybe just for nostalgia purposes.

I like to watch Playhouse Disney frequently...

No, I kinda agree.
I mean, I don't see the obsession with Hello Kitty.
But me and my friends joke about watching kids programmes like ITNG, Teletubbies etc.
Although, it's just a big joke to us. We love laughing about stuff like that and acting childish sometimes.

I'll be honest, i'm a guy and I think Hello Kitty is adorable. I guess because they have Hello Kitty EVERYTHING it makes her fun and crave for more. I visit Sanrio every time I go to the mall to check out what's new.
