Just had to share some good news! (Some of you may see this post in more than one place I am excited!)

The local newspaper editor saw my Christmas TR and forwarded my name and a link to it to a group looking for someone to write a Montana travel blog and newspaper travel articles about traveling with your kids.

I have been waiting until it was official but "Traveling in Colton's World" is a go!

So those of you that want to follow along with our travels around Montana this summer can! I will post the link when it gets started. Basically the idea is they pay for us to travel one weekend a month all summer and I write the blog in exchange for the travel $. Any blog article that they want re-vamped as a newspaper article I will actually get paid for on top of it! Since I owe this opportunity to the DIS all the money I earn is going towards our Halloween trip!

My life has been so crazy busy I haven't had the time to be near my computer.

I took my girls to a concert again. This time it was for Kacy's 18th birthday which if today.

Here is Kacy with Joey Wilson from the band A Skylit Drive. He was there watching the Travie McCoy concert.

Scotty had an 8 hour mountain bicycle race yesterday. As you can tell it was a bit muddy. He had a blast.

I will tell you the story of our incredible adventure later. Right now I have a cake to make. It is Kacy's 18th birthday and my mom's 74th birthday.

NO!!!! I made him clean his body off. They had this race at a place where you had to carry in water. Thankfully I brought in a lot of water.

Yesterday was so nice. The weather was perfect, sunny but not hot. We ended up having a little backyard BBQ. Some friends came over with their 4 month old puppy, he had the best time wrestling with our dog (1 year old golden retriever) It just made me wish for summer! Last week of school before spring break. We have no plans right now, though I would die to do a last minute trip to DLR

Aparantly I'm not on anymore. Going off to lunch with the mother unit. I'll try and be back tonight and chat during the Sharks game (I was so so so so tempted to get tickets before I realized I was broke). Seems to be the only time I can get on the DIS lately.

Hello everyone! I am back, finally.

Congrats on that article Sherri, that is awesome!

I had a great trip to Calgary, even though I had to stay a day later than planned, thanks to the foot and a half of snow they got on Saturday. I got some Vinylmations, and figured out that the new Urban series is more expensive than I thought, so to the two that I got are probably the only two I will get, even if they aren't the ones I wanted most. I ended up with five altogether on my trip.

Anyways, I am glad to be back, and I am FINALLY in the process of cleaning the baby room. And I am waiting to hear back from the landlords to see if we can paint it a light blue. It's a pinkish colour right now, so I am hoping they say yes!

I am taking Kacy to get her tattoo in less than two hours. I know she is excited. I am just still catching up on the lost sleep from over the weekend.

I am not sure I will ever catch up on sleep at this point, lol. For the last 5 or 6 days I have been so uncomfortable, and I have a feeling it's not going to get any better. But I did sleep better last night than I did the whole time I was away. Probably cause I was back in my own bed. It was nice!
