Hey guys.

Just got back from the mall. I was craving tacos, so we ended up going to Taco Time (much better than Taco Bell by the way), and I had to find a gift for a friend for her birthday tomorrow. We will be going up to Edmonton for the day and probably spending some time at West Edmonton Mall. I am looking forward to that, cause there is a Disney Store there!

Now we are watching "Stuff" My Dad Says. We started from the beginning of the season and we are loving it.

We spent some time at the West Edmontom Mall this past summer. It's big, and alot of stores I have never heard of. We spent a couple days there.

They used to have Sharks at this mall too. They are cool to see.

I loved the Sea Lions at West Edmonton, they were so cool. Very smart animals. I could have watched that show over and over.

They are such smart animals. You can tell they have done the routine a million times. They knew what to do before the trainer told them.

Not yet. I am waiting to get the official letter saying I can't get funded before I talk to anyone, that way I have something I can show them. I am hoping it comes next week at the very latest.

Yes, due to my frequent headaches that I have been getting during my pregnancy, my doctor thought it would be best if I stopped working. The missing work every time I got a headache was starting to stress me out pretty bad.

But the insurance company is saying that you have to be continuously injured for 7 days in a row in order to qualify for disability. Where as headaches go away in a few hours to a day. But when you get 3 or 4 a week, that adds up to a lot of missed work. I think it's really unfair that they are declining me. I am going to see if I can get an appeal, but I don't know how to go about doing that, and I don't know how long it will take.

You guys get President's Day off??? What is Boxing Day? The company I work for is Canadian owned and they get different days off than we do.

Alberta gets Monday off. I am not sure if other provinces do or not. We call it Family Day. Not sure what it's actually for other than spending time with family.

Boxing Day is the day after Christmas. It's a holiday, but it's also a big shopping day for us. Like Black Friday for you guys. Stores get crazy sales and people line up for the stores to open at all hours of the night.

Haha, I can never keep track of who gets holidays when. For the most part I thought it was fairly even, lol. You guys seem to get more time off for your Thanksgiving than we do for ours.

We used to get Thanksgiving Day and the day after off. Now we only get Thanksgiving day and if we want the Friday after off we have to use leave time. We get a floating holiday, i always save mine for that day. 4 day weekend!!!!

For some reason I thought you still got all four days off. We only get one day off. It's always a Monday, as are most of our holidays. I think the only ones that don't always fall on a Monday are Canada Day, Rememberance Day and Christmas.

My lungs hurt less today so that is a good thing. I am going to take a nap today for sure. I would love to still be asleep but Scotty was noisy as heck this morning thinking he would get me to drive him this morning. I was not going to have the van today so that I don't have an excuse to get out of getting things done. And so that I can get good rest today.
