Hello from Wisconsin

Hi everyone! I've stumbled on this board a few times now, and each time I've been so impressed how nice everyone is and how much fun you guys have! So, I figured it was probably time to join!

My name is Mandy. I'm 23, and I currently live in Wisconsin with my husband, our 2 cats and our Pug. I grew up in Largo (Clearwater) FL, which is only about an hour from Orlando, and I've had a deep rooted love for all things Disney since I was young. My husband and I honeymooned there in 2006 and now we're taking our first family vacation there too (my father in law, his girlfriend, my sister in law and her boyfriend)!

I look forward to getting to know everyone, making some new friends and sharing a little bit of knowledge if I can help!

YAY! I love having a pug--they really are some of the most affectionate little things! Jake is a fawn colored pug we got from a resuce and he's blind in one eye. He's our little man though. Your pug is absolutely adorable though! What's his/her name?

If we ever get another pug we would definitely want a fawn colored one. They really ARE exceptionally affectionate dogs. We also have a lhasa apso and thought that was an affectionate dog, until we got our pug! We named our little gal Daisy. Very smart dog and always wants to be right by your side (or in your lap). Ours is 5 months old...so we are still trudging through the potty training-that is my only complaint about our pug-she is taking sooooooooo long to train unlike our other dog. I keep telling myself-we will get through this! Jake sounds like a real sweetie! We tried going through a pug rescue but at the last minute the lady who was fostering the pug we wanted decided to keep her, but I think its definitely great to do rescues. Hope to see more of you on the boards!
