Hi all
We are having a great time so far...
Saturday:
Fort Wilderness for the camp fire and electral pagaent.
They had a medical emergency before the camp fire and it got started late (I hope the older gentleman is ok not sure what happened?) The campfire was fun but the bus service stinks, we waited forever to get back to the settlement.
We watched the electral parade and caught the boat back to Wilderness and the boat driver went really slow so we could watch the fireworks from the boat. It was a different way to enjoy the fireworks. while we were sitting at Contemporary resort here comes the electral parade right in front of us, that was a real treat so close up.
I love Wilderness lodge and hope some day to stay there.
Sunday: Animal KIngdom day. We did the Safari first and the animals were not very active but it was still fun. Walked Pangini forest.
We visited Goofy and watched Lion KIng.
Ate at Pizzafari We wanted to do the Nemo show but the times were wrong were different then it said and we didn't want to wait around. Grandson was turning into Grumpy. So we decided to do bug show since it said a 5 min wait??? Hmmmm those 5 minutes sure seemed like 20 or more to us??
Love those bugs!
We left the park missing Everest and Nemo as well as Dinosaur but it was pretty hot.
Monday: Magic Kingdom day.
We arrived for opening and the mad rush to Fantasyland. Rode Dumbo, Snow white, Philharmagic and headed to toon town.
The wait for characters was horrible, as much as I want to get pics with Tink I just can't wait over and hour to do that. Oh well.
We rode Barnstormer and my grandson LOVED it!
He also loves speedway. Saw the talking trashcan but missed getting close to it. By the time we got there it had went inside and dissappeared.
We stood in line for Buzz and used our fastpasses for Buzz ride. Fun Fun!
We went back to the rooms for rest and re-hab.
PM..storms and shut downs...we rode haunted mansion. country bears and piratres while waiting for opening...rode thundermountain and took the train back to toontown for another ride on barnstormer.
Then waited for the parade..we did leave before the fireworks this evening.
Will watch them Thursday instead.
The crowds to me are large I thought it would be lighter but it seems shoulder to shoulder at all parks so far.
Tuesday: Hollywood studios day: Grandma and pa took the AM off and the youngin's went to the park. They rode Toy story twice and backlot tour and a bit of Indiana jones until the potty call came for my Grandson...he is a recent potty dude and doing fantastic.
We just ate at a lunch buffett across the street, not very good but filling and cheap. I sure do miss Dining plan at Disney.
We are heading back to the studios this PM to catch fantasmic and hopefully tower of terror. Will see what we can do.
The weather is playing hit and miss with storms and rain I sure hope it doesn't ruin plans if you afre here with us. Fingers crossed.
I hate not staying on site but we got such a great deal ($270 for a two bedroom condo) so had to take advantage of that.
