Hello from the Magic!

WE had better not only see him but hear him!

Do you hear MUTINY being mummered by the Fidelio Fans?!

Andy, I will do my best to behave myself because I don't want to have to be walking the gang plank but.....Fidelio better be playing!

(Again, no offense to the new Dueling Piano Guys - we just want our Piano Man back!)

But I was just answering the question. To tell you the truth, I'm wondering if there will even be Dueling Pianos after the dry dock remodel.

On our prior cruises Off Beat was still Improv - THAT I miss very much. It seems they have moved more comedy type acts into Rockin' Bar D. Each night at 10:15 they had a cabaret act - most were quite funny.

Also - according to the Teen Counselors - here is what is happening with the space during dry dock. The present ESPN will become a larger teen venue, while Off Beat will become ESPN lounge. The present Common Grounds will remain Common Grounds in essence - names weren't set for sure - so that there will be TWO teen areas. This way they can have one area mainly for the 13-14 year olds and one for the 15-17 year olds while some activities will cross over. The teen segment is growing by leaps and bounds. On the June 21st cruise there were over 300 teens! 169 were 13-14 year olds. And for those with teens you know the "high schoolers" don't want those "middle schoolers" hanging out in the same place!

Those are the latest rumors!

I was just reading through some older threads and came across this one. Has anyone else heard about this, that they will have 2 teen clubs? Next year on our cruise my DSs will be 16 and 13, so if they will indeed have 2 separate teen areas, this is of interest to me. I also agree that the 13/14 year olds have somewhat diferent interests than the older teens. Even if there are not 2 separate teen areas, it'd be a good idea for them to have separate activities for each teen group.

Hi Seaspray,

That was pretty much what the kids picked up. The old ESPN area will definitely be turned into a teen club. The issue that is uncertain is how the present Common Grounds space will be configured. From what the counselors were telling the kids it sounds like the ESPN area will be the dance and "structured" activity area and the present Common Grounds area will remain more of the lounge space it presently is.

Guess we really won't know for sure until she sails again in Oct.
