Ship was just cleared for shore leave. Cruise has been good so far. First two days were very moving, as in the Magic and more than a few green gilled passengers were heaving. Heavy swell in the Atlantic, heard a report that one ship was hit broadside by a 60 foot swell that swamped many staterooms and had to return for repairs. The worse we saw was 20-30 foot swells the first night. The sliding closet doors were going from end to end until I taped then shut. Still, everyone is having fun. DS turns 7 tonight in Luminares, because of an incident in St. Marrten, long story that Ill update later, Disney has promised to make his birthday special even though Disney had nothing to do with the problem. For now let me just warrn you to avoid a store right at the dock called "Duty Free World", you won't believe what these people did to my six year old.
Side note my Sprint cell phone worked well as we passed Puerto Rico and St Thomas so keep tabs on the ship's position and you may have several opportunities to call the states during the cruise. In fact I'm using my Cell to link to the net right now from Topsiders.
BTW. I tried the 12 meter challenge in St. Marrten and can recommend it to anyone the likes the America's Cup or sail racing in general..
DW is kicking my shin to get going ... cheers everyone
