Hey all! New to the boards and from WI. We are on our way to WDW staying at Pop Century 2/8-2/14/08. We are traveling with ds (9) & dds 6 & 2. Where on this board MUST I visit? What are the coupons and special rates I have been reading about and is it too late to take advantage? I need help-this gets to be a bit overwhelming!

to the boards!! I'm not sure what discounts you are talking about, but there is the budget board. I believe they have many threads about discounts and coupons. Now take a deep breath before you get to overwhelmed. I don't know how you booked your trip (ie internet, travel agent etc), but why not call WDW for info?? The boards are great and you will get some great hints and advise, but sometimes you need to also go to a travel agent and get the real deal of what is available coupon, special wise. My advise check the threads that may be discussing upcoming specials and check other boards. There is a resort board, and there is also Mousesavers which is not part of the Dis boards, but many do go on for info.

Welcome fellow Wisconsinite. We are going 2/2 to 2/9. Most codes and discounts will probably be used up by now. We were able to get free park hopper option but that was couple months ago already. I do not believe their are any other codes available right now but I agree with the previous poster on calling your travel agent if that is how you booked.

I would spend a lot of time on the Theme parks/strategies pages. Especially if it is your first visit. Arriving at Disney without a plan is overwhelming to most people. Good luck and have fun.

Like disney54us said, the Budget board is the best place to go for Disney discount information. I know that planning a WDW trip can be a overwhelming, but just take it one step at a time. Getting a good guide book really helped me to be more organized as I planned my last WDW trip. (I used the Unofficial Guide to WDW.) I hope you have a great time on your upcoming trip to WDW!!

We booked online through Disney. We feel we got a pretty good deal and we know we'll get our money's worth. The town we are from is called Holmen and is about 10 miles north of La Crosse. Last night we bought our tickets for the PPP. Kids are fired up about that! I will continue to cruise the board and soak up as much knowledge as I can! It will be our first time taking the kids-the other family we are going with has been there quite a bit so I am sure it will be great! Thanks for all the well wishes!

Welcome! Another wisconsonite! We're in Two Rivers that's 45 minutes from GB! You'll love this website and you'll love Disneyworld! We HAD to go to dtd (down town disney) first and get my pal mickey.
