Hello from the DL Resort!

Just a quick note as I want to get back to the fun... ...full trip report to follow later.

Things going so-so. Absolute disaster on arrival...our hotel (Alpine Inn) screwed up and charged my card even though I had supposidly arranged to pay cash on arrival...which shot our getting a rental car right out the window. Have gotten to know the wonders of Southern CA's public transit system.

DW is already totally burned out on Disney. DD and I are still game even though I think DL is one of the WORST places I've been for disabled services.

The Alladin show has been the highlight of our trip so far...hope to see it again before we're done Saturday.

Somehow we missed today's. DW was less than thrilled on the one that hit Sunday (or was it Monday?) and yesterday's tsunami warning.

What are your plans for tomorrow? Would you like some help for things to do outside Disneyland?

Ok - so I've never gotten to get a chance to do anything like this - to busy - but doesn't the Grand California have a Spa? I say send DW over there for a while tomorrow while you and DD have more fun at the parks! Maybe that will cheer up DW!!! Poor thing just isn't a Ms Commando! I'm sure the earthquakes and tsunami warnings have just put the cherry on top for her! Good luck and try to find a way to spoil her a bit so that it will be possible to drag her back there again next time!

Sorry to hear of your woes, but help me out if you can: We are thinking of Alpine Inn for 12/26-29. How bad/good is it? We need 1 room 2 adults and 1 child, are they large enough? Walking distance to main Entrance DL?
