hey kaylajr! we go upstate every summer to schroon lake (north of lake george), and we ALWAYS go the the track in saratoga. this past summer we went 2 days in a row. my DD came home saying, "daddy said i'm his lucky charm!"

it's always a great time!

I am only about 20 minutes from Lake George

I live close to the track but we never go

Another NY'er here - the Finger Lakes region near Ithaca.

Kaylajr - my co-worker said to me once "Disney has a resort in New York ... Saratoga Springs." Poor thing - she just doesn't understand. I think she thought it was like Vero Beach or something. I had to explain it to her.

No, we'll be going to WDW first and then doing the 3 night cruise on the 17th. We thought it might be more relaxing that way, but I know it won't be enough time on the ship. I did find a thread for our cruise. There are a few people on it but it doesn't look like we'll have a lot of Dissers. Anyway, I hope tht you have a great cruise!

Hey I'm from Levittown too!! Where about do you live? Any kids in school, I have a DD 12, DS 11 and DD 9. We are going in April also, leaving the 16th staying with the in-laws for a few days and then off to POR from the 18th to the 26th. Maybe we know each other!!

Yes Massapequa Park is near Levittown, actually my girls dance company is in Massapequa. I also sell real estate so I am always in that area. About 10 minutes from Levittown.

Billy Joel is from the LEvittown, Hicksville area. I love him too he is playing at the last concert at Shea Stadium (Home of the Mets) this summer before they tear it down. I am trying to get tix.

billy joel went to my high school in hicksville, and my teacher knew him. so my claim to fame is that when i was in 10th grade he asked our teacher for some singers, and we (about 10 of us) got to go to the city to his recording studio and sing on his storm front album! it was a great time! and we even met christie brinkley and their daughter. she was about 2 or 3 at the time.

anyway how great to hear from so many ny'ers and a lot from long island. my daughter takes gymnastics in levittown! on hempstead turnpike.

How Awesome that you got to sing with Billy Joel!!! Do you live in Levittown? Does your daughter go to the Gymnastics place near BJ's? I work for Century 21 near Kohls. What a small world.
