Hi there! How exciting! Maybe we'll be neighbors one day. We live in a colonial, although I think ours is considered a center hall. There are plenty of brookfields in our development though. Very nice. I love it here. The only thing I don't love is the cost of living, property taxes, etc. but that's all of Long Island as you very well know. The schools are great. My oldest started kindergarten this year and I'm very pleased with the school. Good luck on your house hunting and let me know if you end up here! Let me know if you have any more questions, too.

We're from NY also, Elmira area. We've been 6 times over the past 4 years and planning our 7th trip. This will be dd 7th and hopefully soon to be ds's 1st. It will be exciting because we are planning to adopt a 6 year old boy to go with our 6 year old girl and he has never been.

I've been a lurker for a while but thought it was time to introduce myself. My name is Kim and my husband and I have 3 daughters-ages 5, 4, and 1. We love all things Disney! We've been taking the girls to DW twice a year since my oldest was 2 so that makes for maybe 8 trips as a family so far? It helps that my parents have a house in the area so we save a bundle of money not having to pay for accomodations. We have trip #9 coming up in April! Yay! Add that to all the times I've gone as a kid, and well,
I've lost count. We just got tickets to PPP and are really excited to check it out as we've never been. We do MNSSHP every year and LOVE it so I'm hoping this one is great, too.

YES it is but oddly enough they do have everything cleared a lot better than LI would when it snows. I guess that's because they are use to it snowing every day for 11 months a year here

DH went niagra U and he said he would get up there in september, they'd have a few days of nice weather and then .......BAM - snow!

he loved it there, though! he worked for UPS in buffalo while in school.
