Hello from Gatwick

...... and grumbles........

Was meant to fly out yesterday from Manchester via Atlanta with Delta. Well the landing gear didn't work properly and we've ended up at Gatwick.

After too long on the plane with a bag of peanuts and small soft drink given out we were finally put up in the Sofotel (sp) treat like third class citizens and put on a flight via Cincinatti (sp).

Good news of sorts after being insistant we got transfered to a direct Virgin flight which is delayed by about 2 and a quarter hours Have to laugh or I'd cry thankfully we are on a long break or I would be seething even more.

grumbles over for now.....
