I just found this awesome board and I'm looking forward to reading all the great info/ideas/tips as we plan our upcoming trip.

Where is the best place to post a question regarding transferring our new reservation to a TA to help with planning activities? Is that even a good idea if we booked directly with WDW on the phone? A TA sent me a document to sign to transfer over the reservation because it meets the qualifications, but is there anything else I should know about that? TIA

hello! welcome :wave2:

the Disney Resorts Forum seems like the best place to post if you have questions about booking resorts or about resorts itself.

if you have questions regarding activities, like you mentioned, the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies Forum is the best place for that

oh also, on each forum, there are 'sticky threads' at the beginning of the forum (there is a little thumbtack icon next to the post) that may be able to answer some of your questions!

Download the disney app. You can do fast passes 60 days out and dining reservations 180 days out. Go ahead and get your top reservations now.

Yes! Thanks so much. I have the MDE app and I am working on dining reservations. Do you have a favorite character meal you recommend? We will be traveliing with a 2.5 yr old preschooler who is not very character savvy yet..she likes Sofia, haha.

You'll find mixed opinions on this but one but one of our favorite character meals on our most recent trip was Chef Mickey's. The food was good, not great, but good, and the character meets were awesome! It's your chance to see the traditional characters without having to wait in long lines. We did this for brunch on one of our rest days.

If the only Disney Jr. character your preschooler is into is Sofia, then you may want to consider her Meet & Greet at Hollywood Studios. There is a character meal at Hollywood Studios for Disney Jr. characters. We also did this one and it was okay and we're glad we did it once, but not near as enjoyable as Chef Mickey's.

Thanks so much! I have the breakfast scheduled at Hollywood +Vine to meet Sofia and I will have to just wait and see if anything opens up for Chef Mickey! It was not available when I first looked. Thanks for the recommendations
