Hi DISboards! This is my very first post here. I'm an old school WDW fan with a fondness for monorails and Peoplemovers. :) EPCOT circa 1991 (or 1982 even) is probably my favorite thing in the world. I worship Horizons. What else can I say? By now you pretty much know what kind of Disney nerd I am, ha!!!

:welcome:
I like your Disney taste! Horizons was one of my favorites. (and the People Mover of course!)

We're old school, started our madness in 1977, first visit and 43 trips later, wish alot of the old stuff was still there. Back in the day, it was alot easier to chose a resort and manage a stay. Through the years and the addition of all the resorts and parks maked Disney into a longer vacation, 4 days then to 9-12 days now but we enjoy is as much now and have very fond memories from the past. We're not thrill ride junkies, like the shows and pre-show the most and whatever thrill is at the end is just icing on the cake. Peoplemover, horizons, 20,000 Leagues, Skyway, all are or have been our favorites. Anymore, we get just as much excitement just being in the parks strolling than riding

But just remember, it was always Walt Disney's vision that his parks never stay the same. He always wanted to be changing, developing and inspiring.
