Right now we have about 2600 dollars put back this would include gas money. Is this enough money to take to disney world we are going 7 days 6 nights. I say yes this will be plenty of money but nate he says no way we need to take at least 4000 :rolleyes1. thanks in advance for all the advice

Do you have the dining plan and tickets already paid for?
Are you staying onsite or do you need to pay for parking everyday?
If not on the dining plan, look at the menus on allearsnet.com and get a rough estimate on what you will spending on food. What you spend after that is a personal choice. I would say we average $200.00 on souvies, etc for an 8 day stay. Tips ran us about $120.00 total.

That depends, did you purchase the dining plan, park tickets?

sorry i forgot to include that part yes we have the deluxe dining plan and 7days with park hopper and water park tickets...and we are staying on site at all star music family suite

You just need gas money, tips and whatever $ you plan on spending on souvies. IMO, $1,000 would be MORE than enough.

you will be fine. If you are worried about "just in case" stuff; bring a credit card. Have a great time.

Thanks I will tell the hubby that this is our first trip so I'm sure we will have a blast we are putting the finishing details on last minute things right now

we only took 1000 with us last time, and that included gas, tips, some meals since we just had the regular DDP, shopping at the outlets, and 2 souv. per kid plus autograph books. we came home with like $6 but had a great trip.

Thanks that calms me some I doubt we will buy any food we have the deluxe dining so we just have to worry about tips and gas but with tips I think we have to pay a certain amount we are a party of 7 but 2 of our kids are under 3 so I'm not sure how that works

They will charge you the 18% automatic gratuity.
Charge them back to your room. Pay upon checkout.
Please do not carry that much cash on you if at all possible.
$1000-1200 should be more than enough.

We just came back from WDW in December. We drove from Northeast IN and spent 250.00 in gas for our minivan. So 2600.00 is more than enough even if you splurge on souvies. Have fun!
