This weeks, I sold both our dining room table set and my bicycle and made about $300 between the two so we have almost all our food money saved. We still have a little more to go and then we have to save up some for gas & parking, but that shouldn't be a problem. Other than that, we're set!

Well...only 11 more days to go before we finally get to start this long-awaited vacation.

This weekend, we received the newest Disney planning DVD and even though our trip is all planned out, we were excited to watch it and we thought it was pretty good.

We also watched Cars for the first time this weekend. That is such a cute movie and I'm glad to have finally seen it. On the night we arrive at Disney, we are going to show my grandparents Finding Nemo because they have never seen it and since there are 2 new attractions based on the movie, we figured they ought to at least know what the movie was about.

We have decided that we are going to stop over in either Tallahassee or Lake City on our way down to Disney. We originally had planned to drive through the night, then be at Disney by early morning when we had an ADR at Kona cafe, but we knew that since we had a full day of activities that Saturday, that we would feel much better if we spent the night somewhere and just got up early Saturday morning and headed into Orlando.

In other cool news, I have been trying to lose at least 20 lbs before we leave for Disney. So far I have lost 11.5 of that 20, so I only have another 8.5 to lose in 11 days...wish me luck!

A while back, I saw this familiar symbol on the concrete in front of our house. At first, I thought someone had spilled something and it just happened to be in that shape and I figured it would dry up and go away, but it's been there for quite a while now, so I finally decided to take a picture of it. Pretty cool...

WE'RE FINALLY IN THE SINGLE DIGITS!

Last night, I went to the store and bought giant automatic feeders for my cats so that they'd have plenty of food & water for the whole time we'd be gone. They are going to hate being locked up in the living room all week, but luckily it's big and they have plenty of room to run around in.

I am going to so miss my puppies though. They are going to be lonely. Hopefully my sister-n-law who will be home taking care of them will play with them and keep them happy & fed.

On our way to Disney, my DH & I had planned on stopping at either Tallahassee or Lake City to break up the trip and give us less driving time each day. Yesterday though, we decided that since we have an ADR first thing Saturday morning (Feb 2nd) that we didn't want to wake up at the crack of dawn to make it to Disney in time. So we have decided to just drive all day on Feb 1st and spend the night at Disney. So, I called this morning & they had a room available at the Allstar Sports. We've never stayed at any of the value resorts before, so i'm looking forward to it!
